Re branding

Welcome to my new website! 2020 brings a slight re branding for my practice as I expand the states I am licensed in and I move towards a focus on relationships.

My theme goes along with something I personally enjoy, the outdoors. I grew up in the south which is very flat and going on vacations to the mountains is something my family has always enjoyed. When I hike up a mountain it feels like a metaphor for a personal journey one goes on when tackling a problem or issue that brings them to counseling. At a glance it looks intimidating. During the hike it feels exhausting. The incline can make you want to give up. Once you have accomplished it you are rewarded by a positive feeling. The next hike you take it feels a little easier then the last time. You build strength and endurance which prepares you for higher mountains.

A reminder on whatever journey you're going through take time for peace and rest along the way. Self care is the fuel that gets you up that mountain.
